It was a scorcher at the balloark with the FLorida sun beating down. Temperatures reached 95 during the game and were well into triple digits on the field as the Threshers offense was hot in the game.

The team jumped out to an early 8-0 lead before the Flying Tigers were able to whittle thing down to 10-6 in the end. Lakeland managed to bring the tying run to the plate with bases loaded in the ninth inning, but Threshers reliever Santo Hernandez escaped the jam and closed the game out to secure another Threshers win.
