The Threshers grabbed their sixth consecutive win thanks to two first inning runs, and a complete game from starter Drew Naylor. Naylor gave up just one run on four hits fanning six and walking none in the first half of tonight's double header.
In the second half of the double header they would jump out to a 5-0 lead in the third looking to make the winning streak a season high seven games.
The team made that wish a reality as they garnered five third inning runs to put starter Michael Cisco on top mid-way through the second half of the double header. The game would only last 5.2 innings before it was washed out, and in the end the Threshers had their seventh consecutive win coming out on top 7-1 in the game.
