After four consecutive rain outs the Threshers were finally able to get a game in against the Tampa Yankees of Friday night.
In the end it looks like a fifth consecutive rain out may have been better.
The offense got a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Dominic Brown RBI single to drive in Javis Diaz, and that was the last time the Threshers would have any hope. The Yankees came back with two in the bottom of the frame to take a lead, and never looked back.
I hate (really don't) to admit I went to Brighthose Field to see the USF Bulls play in the Big East Championship.
Does that make me bad? I hope not.
Chris Kissock picked up the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award for striking out the only batter be faced in the game.
