The Clearwater Threshers took on the Brevard County Manatees in the final game of their series looking to take a sweep and move a bit closer to first place.

After battling last night through a nail biting 10 innings the Threshers carried some momentum into the game jumping out to an early 3-0 lead. The Manatees cam roaring back in the third to tie the game at three apiece, but in the sixth the Threshers regained the lead at 5-3. The sharks added to the lead with two more runs in the eighth to go up 7-3 with just nine outs remaining in the game.

Dan Brauer picked up the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award for his beautiful bullpen work tonight.
