Mike Zagurski got his second rehab start of the season picking up one strike out and giving up no hits or walks, but it was when Kyle Drabek took the mound that things looked brightest for the Threshers. Michael Schwimer pitched the final 1.1 frames to give the Threshers a shut out giving up a hit, a walk, and registering one strike out.
The Threshers offense first got on the board in the fourth inning when Fidel Hernandez singled, moved to second on a Freddy Galvis sac bunt, and then scored on a Dominic Brown RBI single.
They added a second run in the fifth on a couple of singles and an RBI from Derrick Mitchell, then sealed the deal with a 2-run 2-out home run from Matt Rizzotti in the sixth to go on to a 4-0 win.
Kyle Drabek earned the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award for his terrific work on the mound.
