For the second time in a row, Yohan Flande has thrown an excellent game from the hill for the Threshers. While Kyle Drabek has stolen the show, Flande seems to want to establish himself in the ranks of Phillies elite minor league pitchers as well. Both he and Drabek wen't 5.0 innings with wins in their first outings, and now each has gone 7.0 innings with a win in their second effort. Drabek has an edge in Ks, but so far it is a fun race.

The Threshers offense meanwhile was held silent until breaking a 0-0 tie just after the seventh inning stretch to go up 3-0, and then the bullpen got to within two outs of a shut out before Jared Simon surrendered a solo HR. Simon immediately got the next to batters to ground out to end the game though, so all was good, and the Threshers went home winners. Yohan Flande earns the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award for his terrific work on the mound. That makes Yohan the first two-time winner this season.
