SCHMIDT LIST PLAYER-OF-THE-DAY

The Clearwater Threshers ended the season much as would have been expected. If nothing else we can say the team was consistent this season. By losing their final game the team finished with a record of 32-38 (.457) for the second half of the season. In the first half of the year the team finished with a record of 32-38 (.457), and overall for the year the team finished 64-76 (.457).

I'll put together a seaon recap and some final stats and player mentions over the next few days. Until then thank you to all of this years players for making the season fun at the park. I know the record was not what anyone had hoped for, but hopefully it was a learning experience for everyone. That is what the minors are about. Fans love to see wins, but mostly we want to see guys move closer to their dreams of playing in the big leagues.

Best of luck to everyone in 2009 and beyond.
