Yes!!! The Clearwater Threshers made tonight a rally for the permanent memory by coming back from down 7-4 in the ninth inning to tie the game, and then claimed victory in the bottom of the twelfth inning.
I really wish that I had it in me to recap everything, but many beers later it is all one gigantic blur of excitement at this point.
Let me summarize it like this...Gus Milner picked up the game tying run in the bottom of the ninth inning and then picked up the game winning RBI in the bottom of the twelfth to send the Clearwater Threshers into the locker room on the winning end of a hard fought battle.
Clay Harris kicked some major ass by going 3-5 with a home run and a double plus a sac fly to drive in two (including the tying run in the ninth) and scored twice, while Matt Spencer had two RBIs in the game to keep the Threshers alive. Fidel Hernandez also picked up three hits in the effort and scored a run.
the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award went to Gus Milner for his effort, but Clay Harris and the bullpen deserved a close second for their job.
