The Rays sent David Price the #1 pick in the 2007 draft to the hill while the Threshers sent Tyson Brummett to face him. In the end it was the Rays who came out on top despite a solid outing from the Threshers hurlers. Brummett lasted 7.0 innings givung up just two runs on five hits, and Bear Hill tossed the final scoreless frame, but the offense could not get anyone across the plate despite out hitting the Rays 8-6 in the game.
