The Jays jumped out to a 2-0 lead on the Threshers in the first inning with back-to-back doubles, and that would prove to be more than the Threshers offense could overcome. Starter Edgar Garcia rebounded nicely giving up just one more run on a solo shot but his overall numbers were't bad. He lasted 6.2 innings giving up just six hits with four Ks and two walks, but suffered his first loss of the season and ended his five game winning streak.
Adrian Cardenas picked up two more hits on the night after a terrific night last nigh, with Matt Spencer scoring the team's only run, and Gus Milner and Jay Miller each getting doubles for the team's only extra base hits.
Sadly, the SCHMIDT LIST players of the game award went unclaimed for the second time in the three game series.
