The Clearwater Threshers rebounded nicely on Wednesday to down the Sarasota Reds 7-2 less than twelve hours after falling to the Yankees in a dramatic loss on Tuesday night. The team got another solid effort from their pitching staff, and picked up another fifteen hits from their offense. This time however the team was able to capitalize on their offense and get seven runs on their fifteen hits where they had gotten just three runs on fifteen hits the previous evening.

Shane Victorino made a rehab start with the Threshers in the game going 2-3 at the plate with an RBI in the game. Gus Milner, Mike Eylward, and Jay Miller all picked up three hits in the game with everyone in the starting line up picking up at least one hit on the afternoon.

Edgar Garcia got the start going 6.0 innings giving up two runs on five hits with three Ks and three walks. Brett Harker pitched 2.0 innings of relief giving up two hits with a strikeout and a walk, and Andy Cruse pitched the final inning of relief giving up no runs on one hit.

Gus Milner picked the SCHMIDT LIST player of the game award for his 3-4 effort at the plate with 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored and a walk.
