That gave PJ Antoniato his second chance at a sac bunt with on the night, but after falling behind 0-2 in the count PJ's bunt went foul down the first base line for the first out of the inning bringing Brian Burgamy to the plate for his fifth at bat of the night. Brian Burgamy knocked a single to score Harris and send Thayer to third. After a fly out from Brad Harman and a K from Jason Donald the game went to the seventh inning stretch with the Threshers up 6-1.

Not content to end thing there, Jason Donald picked up a double to keep things alive with Jeremy Slayden coming to the plate. The Manatees did manage to get out of the inning and get to their last at bat after Slayden Grounded out, but with a seven run deficit things looked bleak for the Manatees.
