After a rain-delayed start the Threshers got up on the Mets with runs in each of the first two innings on Monday night, but the offense fell silent from that point on as the Mets rallied for a 3-2 win.
Threshers starter Luis Villarreal continues to look for his first win of the year as the offense could supply only two runs as he gave up three to the Mets over his six innings of work. Nate Johnson added scoreless innings in the seventh and eighth while Will Savage closed out a scoreless ninth, but it was all for nothing as the offense supplied just two hits after the fifth inning.
Player in yellow denotes the SCHMIDT List player(s) of the game.
