The Clearwater Threshers socked it to the JUpiter Hammerheads on Saturday night crushing them 8-0. Threshers starter Josh Outman was more than solid holding the Hammerheads to one run on eight hits with five Ks through six innings, and the bullpen held them in check with Nate Johnson and Ron Hill giving up just one more run on four more hits.
Brian Burgamy got a solo HR to lead off the first for the Threshers while they added three more in the inning. Greg Golson would crush a 3-RBI HR to straight out center field in the fourth to cap off a four-run inning as the team easily cruised to an 8-2 win.
