Miracle Shut Out Threshers

Team Back in Third Place

Not "One Hit," but May as Well Have Been

One night after the Threshers shut out the MIracle, it was the Miracle who shut out the Threshers as they got the final game of the series downing the team 2-0 on Tuesday night.

Fortunately the Sarasota Reds also lost tonight so the Threshers did not lose any ground on first place, but the Tampa Yankees won tonight to leap frog the Threshers into second place.

The team has three games against last place Dunedin before the all-star break, including a double header on Wednesday night, before closing out the first half at Sarasota with three games next week. Trailing by three games with just six remaining every game is critical to the playoof chase now.

Player in yellow denotes the SCHMIDT List player(s) of the game.
