Threshers Pick Up a Win and a Game on First

Tow RUn First Inning Proves All That is Needed

The Threshers returned home on Tuesday after an eight-game road trip and downed cross county rivals the Dunedin Bluejays 3-1. The Jays got a run in the first inning, but could manage nothing else.

The Threshers picked up two first inning runs and tacked on an insurance run in the fifth for a 3-1 win. The Sarasota Reds lost on Tuesday closing the Threshers deficit on first place to four games.

Only about ten games remain before we get the Florida State League in-season all-star selections. Get your votes in to win those all-star game tickets.
