The Threshers faced the Hammerheads for the final game of their four game series on Sunday afternoon. The Hammerheads got to starter Andrew Carpenter early for five runs in the first two innings, and the Threshers were never able to get back on top. They did manage four runs in the fourth to close the gap to 5-4, but could manage no more.
The team will return home on Tuesday to face the Bluejays.
