Threshers Offense Explodes in 11-3 Victory

In the first game of a three game set against the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Clearwater Threshers offense exploded putting up a season high eleven runs in route to an 11-3 win.
Clay Harris and Mike Spidale broke out with three hits each, while Jeremy Slayden and Jon Urick added two hits. Brad Harman threw in a 2-RBI triple and Kevin Howard added a 2 RBI single to the mix. Welinson Baez got an RBI single while Lou Marson managed to reach base and score three runs in the game.
Andrew Carpenter picked up the win for the team in six innings of work with Mike Zagurski going two innings with five strikeouts, and Wil Savage closing out the ninth.
