In the first game of a three game set the Threshers took down the Miracle behind a strong pitching effort from starter Josh Outman. Outman came into the game needing a strong performance and that is what he delivered.
Outman had pitched good most of the year, but lacked a win on his record. Tonight he got his first win as the Threshers kept pace with the Sarasota Reds in the race for the FSL lead.
Clay Harris picked up two RBIs on the night while Welinson Baez grabbed the team's BA lead going 2-4 at the plate. Lou Marson made the most of his plate appearances; despite going hitless he scored twice on two walks.
Player highlited in yellow denotes the SCHMIDT List player(s) of the game.
