Despite out hitting the Yankees 9-8 in the first game of today's double header the Threshers were downed 4-1 in the game.
Greg Golson kept his hitting streak alive at five games in the game with two hits including a double, and the team's only RBI, but it was not enough to will the team to victory.
In the game Victor Hall, Brad Harman, and Matt Thayer each picked up two hits with Thayer adding a walk to his on base total, while Clay Harris had a hit and a walk as well, but stranded runners (8) were the tale of the game.
Josh Outman was credited with his first loss of the year giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while Mike Zagurski maintained his 0.00 ERA out of the bullpen giving up just one hit with 5 Ks in 2.0 innings for the team.
