OTHER: Matt was an all-american at Northern Illinois in 2007 before being signed by the Phillies; the first player ever from NIU to earn such honors. He split time at the end of 2007 between Williamsport and Lakewood appearing in 26 games and posting an overall ERA of 1.70 with 46K v just 13BB in 35 innings of work.
