OBTAINED: Via trade from the New York Yankees for Catcher Sal Fasano in 2006.
OBTAINED:Hector appeared in 28 games for the Threshers in 2006 after coming over from the Tampa Yankees. Before the trade he had been hitting .286 in the FSL, but only hit .212 for the Threshers the remainder og that season. With the adjustment to change of scenery behind him, Hector will look to get things on track with the Threshers in '07. Before being traded Hector was ranked as the #24 prospect of the Yankees by baseball America.
Received a 50 game suspension in April 2007 for a positive test for performance enhancing drugs.
