OBTAINED: Phillies 6th round pick in the June 2006 draft out of Northwestern University.

OTHER: Appeared in 11 games for Batavia in 2006 with a 1.96 ERA and 65K in 55.1 innings of work.

Was promoted to Lakewood at the end of the 2006 season appearing in 3 games with 10 K in 8.0 innings of work.

Dan began a terrific 2007 season at Clearwater, but was shut down and put on the DL after only 8 games.
