OBTAINED: Phillies 9th round pick in the 2005 draft out of LSU.

OTHER: Clay had a .255 batting average with 13 home runs and 81 RBIs for the Lakewood Blueclaws in 2006.

In 2007 Clay was again a solid contributor earning the Mr. Clutch Award from the 2007 Threshers fans as he helped the team to their 2007 FSL Championship.

Clay began the 2008 campaign sidelined due to injury, but finished strong at Reading.
